David was born in Trinidad, W.I. -- the southernmost island in the Caribbean and the land of the steel drum, calypso, limbo, and, according to many, the best Carnival in the world. He has lived in the United States for over 30 years.He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and is licensed to practice law in Arizona and Maryland. David has over 25 years of wide-ranging experience providing legal representation in real estate matters, including extensive experience in residential loan issues. For the last decade, David’s practice has expanded to include estate planning and business organization which go hand in hand, as well as consumer and business bankruptcy. David is an avid soccer fan, enjoys spending time with his wife and playing guitar.
Richard Crenshaw is a native of Arizona and has been practicing law for over 30 years in the Valley. He has wide-ranging experience in contract law, bankruptcy and consumer litigation. Rick's experience with jury trials, appellate work in federal and state courts and DUI and traffic violation defense makes him a valuable member of Brown & Associates.
Mathew Simmunds, Of Counsel
Matthew Simunds is Of Counsel at Brown and Associates. Born in Seattle, Washington, he graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration (International Business). He attended Pepperdine University School of Law, including six months in London to focus on international business law. Graduating in 2004, he has over 13 years of experience dealing with a wide variety of civil matters. He has worked in construction prior to law school and has maintained his connection with the industry as an advocate for builders early in his career, and later working with consumers to address construction defects in both residential and commercial construction. He has been admitted to the Arizona Bar since 2004, the Washington Bar since 2011 and is also licensed to practice in the Federal Court for the District of Arizona.
